Leeds United look unstoppable in the Championship at the moment. Marcelo Bielsa is turning water into wine with some of his current players, however, the squad looks very thin and the fans have been discussing who they’d like to bring in with less than a week remaining in the loan window.
Asked Bielsa about possible incomings with the transfer window closing on Friday: “I wouldn’t tell you because I’m not sure of anything at this moment.” Leeds hopeful of making one more signing. Listening to offers for O'Kane, Ekuban, Anita. #lufc

Leeds have been linked to a number of players on-loan this summer. Tottenham Hotspur’s Juan Foyth and Everton’s Matthew Pennington could be potential centre-back options whilst in midfield Pep Guardiola could sanction young Phil Foden with a move away to Elland Road on a temporary basis. A lot of clubs will be jealous of Bielsa’s connections with the likes of Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino and he could benefit from those.
However, the summer could just as easily end a lot quieter and they could come away with no new signings between now and the 1st September. The Whites have already brought in some talented boys to bolster their squad, with Patrick Bamford and Barry Douglas two of the picks that have got the fans off their seats. If hey can keep their winning run going and keep the squad injury free there won’t be any issues but if they have a selection crisis the fans won’t be happy with Bielsa’s approach to the window.

Phil Foden. Pipe dream maybe, but he didn’t even get a place on bench yesterday. Bielsa needs to have a word with Pep #lufc

Huth could be just what we need, he’ll know game time will be limited because of how we’re playing, but when he comes in he’ll certainly do a no nonsense job!

It just goes to show that even with Bielsa turning water into wine even he has his limits

As you can see the fans are keen to bring in at least one more player and will be hoping they can do so before they host Middlesbrough on Friday evening.
