Leeds fans on Twitter thank Radrizzani for appointing Bielsa

Things at Elland Road have massively gone uphill in a very short space of time. Just six months ago the fans were in turmoil as Paul Heckingbottom saw out the end of last season and they finished 13th. That’s now a distant memory as Marcelo Bielsa has the top of the Championship and the fans have been thanking Andrea Radrizzani for bringing him in.

Leeds were again on fire last night as they hosted Preston North End in the Championship. After losing 2-0 at home to Preston in the Carabao Cup second round it was clear that Bielsa and The Whites were desperate to get revenge over Alex Neil’s side and they did it in style. A Tyler Roberts eight-minute brace in the second half added to Liam Cooper’s opener and the fans left Elland Road celebrating three goals and three points.

It was a special moment for Roberts, whose two goals were his first in the Championship and now they’ll be keen for him to carry on and achieve big things in the absence of both Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe. The fans will have Bielsa to thank for Roberts form, though, as his work with the youngster is obviously paying dividends. In all, the fans are in disbelief that they managed to secure Bielsa over the summer and they all have Radrizzani to thank.

Credit where it's due. @andrearadri believed in Orta when we all called for his head. The sheer audacity for a championship club to go for Bielsa nevermind convince him is paying dividends at the moment. If he wants a player in Jan we have to get them

Seems both clubs have seen dark times over the past few years. Thank **** that idiot Cellino has gone, much, much, much better now with Radrizzani at the helm, we’re moving in the right direction under full Sail. Top of the league, I wish the season could end right now
