Leeds United supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their team enter the season’s first international break sat at the summit of the Championship table.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men were tipped by many during the summer to be genuine promotion contenders following the appointment of the Argentine, and they have certainly looked the part so far in winning four and drawing the other two of their first six league matches. Victories over Stoke City, Derby County, Rotherham United, and Norwich City have been intertwined with draws against Swansea City and Middlesbrough to give the Whites an excellent start to the campaign, a start which sees them top of the second tier table.
Thus, there have been many delighted Leeds fans up and down the country in recent times, and they are likely to be further intrigued by the efforts of midfielder Mateusz Klich on international duty this week.
The 28-year-old made the move to Elland Road back in the summer of 2017 but struggled to have a meaningful impact last season, which thus saw him shipped out on loan to FC Utrecht back in January in a bid for regular first team football.
Yet he has returned to Yorkshire and has been a revelation under Bielsa, which is form he has taken onto the international stage in netting for Poland in their 1-1 friendly draw against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday night.
And several Leeds fans took to Twitter both during and after the game to express their views on Klich’s efforts, with many heaping praise on the midfielder for his outstanding start to the campaign…
