Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling a little deflated at the moment after they lost to Reading 1-0 at the weekend in the Championship.
The Whites went into the game in high-spirits after beating Brighton last time out before the international break but this game proved one too far as the Royals won out.
Indeed, it leaves both sides looking set to have to settle for just the play-offs this season and there seems to have been an alarming pattern behind why Leeds aren’t nearer the automatic promotion spots.

The consolation? There isn’t any more international breaks this season and so Garry Monk’s men should be able to get back to form and stay there ahead of the run-in in the second tier.
