Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see their side start lining up transfer deals ready for when the summer window opens up for business.
The men from Elland Road may not be in the Premier League next season but after their campaign this year they are still an attractive proposition and it certainly appears that they are going to be linked with plenty of players.
One of the stars the fans want to see stay put, though, is Pontus Jansson with him impressing hugely whilst on loan from Torino this year.
The deal is yet to be fully sorted out, though, but whilst we wait to see what happens, it does appear that the club still holds the high ground in terms of negotiations.
That, at least, is according to Adam Pope on Twitter who said:
Re Jansson – The deal is still in Leeds favour. FIFA it appears are being asked to interpret the contract by Torino.

No need to worry just yet for Leeds fans, then, who are going to be keen to see this one done.
