Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for what could be a crucial weekend of games for them in terms of the play-off chase this season.
The Whites had been looking good for the play-offs earlier this month, of course, but two poor losses have struck at the most unfortunate time and now they are needing some luck to try and get back into the top six.
Indeed, that must start with a win against Norwich and then they’ll have to see what the sides above them do with just two games left in the campaign.
Even so, it’s still been a good year for Leeds and many of their fans here by the bar are hoping that manager Garry Monk stays at the club past this season.
Indeed, it appears the players are feeling the same with Pontus Jansson providing comments plenty of the Whites’ supporters will be pleased about – as quoted by The Yorkshire Evening Post.
He said:
“He’s been a big, big part in my career here and he has taken care of me since the first day and he’s been good with me. I really hope that he is going to be coach for Leeds next season, of course.”
