Leeds United will look to return to winning ways on Wednesday night when they host Swansea City at Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side rescued a point against Middlesbrough at the weekend, however, they slipped to second in the table as Norwich City managed to record a win against Ipswich Town.
The two sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw when they met each other back in August and the Welsh outfit will surely provide The Whites with a tough test once again.
However, according to a match preview by BBC Sport, Bielsa will have to make one change to the side that rescued the point against Boro at the weekend.
Jack Clarke will miss out after he required urgent treatment from paramedics in the dugout before being rushed to hospital and will be replaced by Pablo Hernandez.
Gaetano Berardi and Stuart Dallas are continuing in their efforts to return to first-team action, whilst Adam Forshaw remains out for another week or so with his knee problem.
The Verdict:
Although Clarke’s absence may come as a blow to Bielsa and Leeds, the fact that they can replace the outstanding teenager with Hernandez will be somewhat comforting.
The £1.8million-rated Spaniard (per Transfermarkt) has, in his own right, been a key member of The Whites this season and provides the Elland Road with some real attacking threat.
The 33-year-old has 11 assists and seven goals in his 24 Championship appearances so far and will be a great alternative to Clarke on Wednesday night.
