According to a post by Leeds United’s official club account, due to the fact Fulham could only sell a portion of their away allocation, Whites supporters have been granted access to tickets in the West Stand lower – with Yorkshire Evening Post writer Graham Smyth since stating that they will ‘go like the clappers‘.
Smyth, relaying the news on social media, gave his verdict that they will sell out very quickly, potentially given the nature of the game and the fact Leeds are within touching distance of automatic promotion. Indeed, this is a top of the table clash between two sides vying for a return to the Premier League – with Fulham currently lying in third spot seven points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s league leaders.
Reacting to the update that the London club have only sold a portion of their away allocation, many Whites fans have been laughing at journalist Smyth’s take on the situation – with one supporter even saying ‘hold me‘ and others lauding the tweet as ‘very good‘.
