Leeds United may have returned to the top of the Championship table with their 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in Saturday’s early kick-off (BBC), however fans took to Twitter to praise the performance of Oliver Casey.

The youngster was brought on to the pitch to replace Mateusz Klich with just five minutes to go but appeared to still have managed to do enough to win plaudits from those watching on.
Whilst goals from Ezgjan Alioski and Pablo Hernandez had put the tie beyond their Yorkshire rivals, Casey still had a job to do and one that he appeared to get stuck into as soon as he could.
According to the data collected by WhoScored, the 19-year-old managed to make one interception as well as complete all four of the passes he attempted to make as he had just five touches of the ball.
Many of the club’s supporters were delighted and impressed with the cameo they saw from another of their academy prospects, whilst others have already started to compare the teenager to one of their current star’s in Ben White.
