Responding to Kaiser Chiefs band member and Leeds United fan Simon Kaiser on Twitter, many Whites supporters have been giving their verdicts on who their player of the season is – with defender Stuart Dallas garnering a lot of praise during the debate.
Dallas, who has started 37 Championship games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, becoming a mainstay in Leeds’ battle for promotion under the Argentine, is currently earning due plaudits for his arguably brilliant season so far at Elland Road. One stat that particularly highlights this could be the fact that Dallas has made even more tackles (2.2) on average than midfield stalwart Mateusz Klich, with the Northern Irishman making the second most out of the entire squad, as per WhoScored.com.
Keeping this in mind, many fans have flocked to praise the 28-year-old for his performances this campaign – with supporters describing him as ‘fantastic‘ and ‘insane‘.
