So, the return of Garry Monk to Elland Road tomorrow takes on an extra poignancy. Monk, who left the Yorkshire giants over a year ago now after just a single season in charge of the club, isn’t a popular figure amongst supporters. His quick-fire leaving for Middlesbrough in June 2017 shocked fans following a promising season with the Whites, though things are working out at Elland Road now.
Ahead of the game, Monk revealed that he’d put any differences he had with Andrea Radrizinni aside, though it’s prompted quite the reaction online.
