Leeds United fans have taken aim at the club following the announcement on Twitter regarding Kemar Roofe’s latest injury.

The Whites posted an update on their social media profile to reveal that the striker would be spending the next four weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury, easing initial fears that he could be out for a much longer period of time.
Despite finishing as the club’s top goalscorer with 15 in the last campaign, Roofe is no stranger to having to spend time in the treatment room.
As the Yorkshire Evening Post noted, he missed a total of 13 games last season with calf and knee problems at crucial stages of the campaign, including one that ruled him out of their play-off semi-final second leg defeat to Derby County (BBC).
Now, with it being likely that another four weeks will have to be spent on rehabilitation, the 26-year-old may not be able to feature for Marcelo Bielsa’s side until the end of August. Therefore, he could potentially miss the games against Brentford and Stoke City.
However, many of the fans do not appear to be as disappointed as they are with Roofe for his injury as they are in regards to how the club will deal with the situation.
Plenty of them have decided to take aim at Leeds’ hierarchy, with a number of them feeling it was something that was typical and always likely to happen, whilst others were furious the club have done nothing to cover themselves within the transfer market.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Down to 1 striker who can’t hit a barn door, great business leeds this summer radz has done the same every transfer window why would this one be any different #cheapchancer

Down to bare bones up front before season starts. Why can’t club see this? We will achieve nothing this season

This is getting beyond a joke. The club quite clearly saw what cost us promotion last season, and have done virtually nothing to address it. In my view, they are making a mockery of the loyalty fans show for the club.
