It’s been a cracking Championship campaign for Leeds United so far and their fans here in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely delighted with how things have proceeded over the past couple of months.
The Whites have put some early-season struggles behind them to become one of the driving forces in the division this season and after years of poor seasons, their supporters seem ecstatic with some of the things we’ve seen on the pitch during this campaign.
But with January now upon us, there are plenty of transfer rumours flying about the place linking Garry Monk’s team with various players from all over the world.
But a wealth of talent lies in the lower divisions in England and there are certainly some players who our Leeds-mad punters think the club should be moving for over the next couple of days.
So with that in mind, here are THREE exciting Football League starlets the Whites should target next week…
Duane Holmes

Scunthorpe are flying high at the top of League Two right now and their fans here in the Tavern really do believe that a return to the Championship is very much on the horizon for the Iron.
A big player for the side has been 21-year-old midfielder Duane Holmes, who has been ever-present as Scunny have fought back to second in the table.
He’s a hard-hitting midfielder with a very bright future indeed, looking like a Leeds United hero in waiting.
Otis Khan
A right-midfielder who has been flying for Yeovil Town this campaign, Otis Khan has been superb, despite his side sitting in 16th in League Two.
He’s a stocky sort of winger who gives something different in their midfield, helping the Whites break behind enemy lines when teams set up defensively against them.
