Leeds United should look to re-sign these 2 players this summer

Leeds United fans here in the Tavern are looking forward to next season, as the summer transfer window may hold the key to success next time out.

This season has been a rather stressful one for many of our local residents here in the Tavern, as Paul Heckingbottom just can’t seem to rally his troops to produce consistent results in the Championship. And, with nothing to play for from here on in until the end of the season, a managerial change may be in the offing at Elland Road.

Although, Leeds will be setting their sights on a few possible summer additions with plenty of improvements to be had, so supporters should expect a busy few months.

Interestingly, the club should look to bring a couple of ex-players back to Elland Road in time for next season, as success has been hard to come by in recent years.

Therefore, Leeds United should look to re-sign these TWO players in the summer…

Max Gradel

Leeds supporters will all remember Max Gradel’s time at Elland Road, as he often lit up the stage with his dazzling array of dribbling, skills and pace.

However, the Ivorian has struggled to come to terms with Premier League football at Bournemouth, as he’s currently out on loan at French side Toulouse.

But, with plenty of years still left in his footballing career, Leeds United should look to bring an old fan favourite back to Yorkshire, as consistency hasn’t been a strong point in the final third for the Whites this season.

Bradley Johnson

Bradley Johnson will always be remembered for his ability to score the most outrageous long-range goals during his time at Leeds.

And, many of our local residents want to see him sign for United once again in the summer transfer window, which may be possible as he continues to be used as a squad rotation player at Derby County.

Indeed, with Leeds currently struggling to hold possession and offer any attacking threat in the middle of midfield, bringing Johnson’s old face back to Elland Road could see them challenge for promotion next season.
