When Leeds United announced the loan signing of Jack Harrison from Manchester City last summer, their supporters had every right to feel positive about the move.
A supremely talented winger, the 20-year-old seemingly had all the ingredients needed to thrive in the Championship for the Whites.
Yet despite producing stand-out performances against the likes of Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday, a lack of consistency unfortunately limited the impact that Harrison would have on the club’s fortunes during the 2018/19 campaign.
Nevertheless, with Marcelo Bielsa clearly a fan of the England under-21 international, it is hardly surprising that the Whites have been linked with a permanent move for the winger.
However, with The Sun reporting that Leeds have been told that they will have to pay £20m for Harrison by Manchester City to lure him away from the Etihad Stadium, it is looking very unlikely that he will be returning to West Yorkshire over the coming months.
Reacting to the Citizens’ reported valuation of Harrison on Twitter, loads of Leeds fans expressed their disgust at the news.

Although there is no doubting the winger’s potential, when you consider the fact that he was only directly involved in 7 goals in the second-tier last season suggests that he is not worth anywhere near what the reigning Premier League champions are quoting.
With Pep Guardiola unwilling to let Harrison leave on another loan this summer, the Whites may have to look elsewhere to strengthen their squad in this position when the transfer window opens in July.
