If you’re a Toffees fan, then the Tavern is the ideal place to be with supporters joyfully celebrating their encouraging start to the Premier League campaign, which followed an impressive summer in the transfer market.
Ronald Koeman has unquestionably done a superb job in the recruitment department, although only time will tell whether its a gamble that’ll pay off, especially if the club want to push into that top-six bracket.
Fans by the bar have been questioning whether Everton still need to strengthen following the arrival of Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson, however, there is still one or two areas on the field that need reinforcing.
As a measly two weeks of the window remain, manager Koeman will definitely need to be getting his act together if he wants more fresh faces through the door at Goodison Park this summer.
Bearing that in mind, here are TWO players Everton must tie up deals for before the window slams shut for the next five months…..
Fernando Llorente

Ronald Koeman has frequently mentioned that he is still in the market for another striker to add to his ranks, which already obtains boyhood Everton fan Wayne Rooney and Spaniard Sandro Ramirez.
The tavern’s bar man thinks the ideal candidate to fulfil the boss’ demands is Swansea City attacker Fernando Llorente, who has consistently proved himself at Premier League level.
The 32-year-old is currently sitting on the sidelines with a fractured arm but this should most certainly not stop the Toffees completing a deal to bring Llorente to Merseyside before the window shuts in less than two weeks.
Danny Welbeck

With Arsenal’s signing of Alexandre Lacazette, it may appear that forward Danny Welbeck is deemed surplus to requirements at the club which may prompt Everton’s interest in the England international.
Despite having netted in the Gunners’ opener against Leicester City, the former Manchester United man hasn’t set the world alight since moving to the capital and his employer could be open to his departure.
Our tavern landlord is adamant that Koeman continues to add firepower to the front line and Welbeck is an ideal player to fit the bill for such a role, as well as his pivotal versatility.
Everton fans, would you welcome these two signings before the window shuts? Of the options, which would you prefer if the club could only sign one? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
