The Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been slating their club’s 24-year-old striker, Caleb Ekuban after the striker failed to make an impact in the Yorkshire club’s 2-0 loss away at Fulham. Ekuban has scored just a single Championship goal since signing from Chievo Verona last summer and the fans have become increasingly frustrated with his inability to find the net.

The Leeds fans propping our bar up will have hoped that they could’ve got their season back on track and strung some wins together after finally winning their second game of 2018 against Bolton last Friday, but to win at Craven Cottage is always a tall order in the Championship. Ekuban opened the scoring for The Whites against Bolton and the very hopeful Leeds fans among us were hoping they’d see their Ghanaian frontman trouble the Fulham backline.
Unfortunately, and predictably, it wasn’t to be for Paul Heckingbottom’s side and after the game, the Leeds gaffer was questioned over the finishing ability of the club’s summer signing, prompting Heckingbottom to go in on Ekuban’s finishing. The club looks to be struggling for a prolific striker after selling Chris Wood to Burnley in the summer and failing to properly replace the big New Zealander.

He’s 24 years old and a professional footballer he should be able to deal with the ball no matter what side of his body it comes across you’re taught to play with both feet as much as you can when you’re at school it’s page one stuff this

But one can also counter this point by saying that all of Ekuban's left foot chances were easy 1 v 1s .. so it really doesn't matter where the ball falls.
