Let’s be honest: These 2 Man City players’ careers are well and truly going downhill

Pep Guardiola’s anticipated summer revamp at Manchester City is still brewing.

The Spaniard has been issued a hands off warning by Arsene Wenger after the Gunners boss stated Alexis Sanchez is not to be sold to the Citizens and is expected to ‘respect’ his contract with Arsenal.

Sanchez has just one year to run on his current deal at The Emirates, but Guardiola is keen to link him up with Aguero and co.

City have added Bernado Silva from Monaco and Benfica shot-stopper Ederson so far, but Dani Alves is off to PSG.

It all means that competition for places is really hotting up. The cream rises to the top, or if Guardiola just prefers you. And there are a number of players who miss out on regular game time under the Spaniard.

And let’s be honest, these TWO Man City players’ careers are well and truly going downhill…

Samir Nasri

Manchester City could be stuck with the Frenchman who is in a UEFA probe that could lead to two year suspension. It would also leave City unable to shift Nasri’s £120,000-a-week wages this summer.

The 30 year-old spent last season on loan at Sevilla, but disappointed for the Spanish outfit.

Nasri’s career at City has been turbulent, but it appears there is simply now no place for the ex-Arsenal man.

Joe Hart

England’s number one is anything but Guardiola’s. Joe Hart was sent out on loan at the start of last season after being dropped by his manager.

City have just recruited Ederson who is now expected to be there new number one, giving Hart the go ahead to find a new club.

Newcastle could be keen on the 30 year-old.
