The Liverpool supporters here in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see their team back involved with the Champions League next season, with the ardent bunch of punters desperate to see the Reds finish with a flourish and secure a top four finish.
It is unlikely that boss Jurgen Klopp will ever truly attract the players he really wants at the club unless Liverpool are among Europe’s elite and competing in the Champions League on a frequent basis, which makes for a big couple of months for the Reds.
A couple of Reds supporters are tucking into one of the landlord’s limited edition real ales here in the Tavern and they are discussing which players could make way for any new signings during the summer months.
Our landlord was intrigued by this and he pulled himself a pint and starting to think about three players who Liverpool should just cast adrift during the summer.
Divock Origi

Okay, so Origi is still relatively young and could evolve as a player, but is he really of the required quality to take Liverpool towards a tilt at the Barclays Premier League title?
One Reds supporter is sat eating a burger from the meal deal menu and he thinks that the club would be well served getting rid of Origi and signing a player with more quality to start regular for the club.
Simon Mignolet

The Belgian stopper will almost certainly be replaced with a new recruit in the summer and in a straight shootout between Mignolet and Loris Karius, you would have to say that it will be the former who is more likely to leave the club.
One Liverpool fan is sat watching the latest sports headlines on Sky Sports News here in the Tavern and he agrees that Mignolet is capable of a moment of magic, but at the same time agrees completely that he is also capable of an absolute clanger – which could subsequently see him sold.
Lucas

The Brazilian has been a quality servant for the club over the years but this summer will surely be the transfer window where Liverpool offload the central midfielder.
Lucas does not have the required quality to improve the current crop of talent and one fan here in the Tavern is sat puffing on a e-cigarette and he thinks that Lucas must be sold in the summer.
