Looking at the rather long list of players who have been linked with a move to Tottenham, it looks like the club are prioritising the signing of a central midfielder and a winger. Now, according to The Express, Lewis Cook of Bournemouth could be making a switch to North London.

Lewis Cook supposedly caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino last season whilst he was establishing himself as a first-team regular in Eddie Howe’s side. The 21-year-old midfielder has the raw talents needed to succeed under Pochettino and his supposed transfer fee of between £20 and £30 million makes him a very attainable asset for the ex-Leeds United man who will be looking to gain a place as an England regular in the future.
The Lillywhites are currently in the middle of a midfield crisis. Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks and Victor Wanyama are all out injured whilst Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele have been given an extended holiday following their World Cup campaigns. If Poch did make the move to sign Cook he would need to do it quickly to try and get him up to speed as soon as possible ahead of the club’s trip to Newcastle next Saturday.
You can read the Spurs fans’ verdict on Cook here:
Spurs fans really need to educate themselves on the domestic game. Lewis Cook is twice the player Grealish is and one of the biggest young talents in the English game and 100% a future England star.

Top young player. 25m release clause too apparently.

He's decent. If he was foreign everybody would be all over it. Was brilliant in the Toulon tournament and named in best eleven.

As you can see, the fans are on board with the idea of signing Cook, even if will cost around £30 million.
