Liverpool fans have found themselves agreeing with Jurgen Klopp after he responded to his critics during his press conference, via Chris Bascombe on Twitter.
The German tactician came under scrutiny from journalists such as John Cross after his side’s 2-2 draw against Shrewsbury Town that he would not be taking charge of the FA Cup fourth-round replay. Indeed, U23s boss Neil Critchley will take charge of the Reds as the first-team squad will honour the winter break imposed by the Premier League, along with Klopp himself.
The FA said that every club agreed to this season’s FA Cup fixture schedule and that Liverpool were fully aware of the chance that fourth-round replays could cut short any winter breaks planned. With that in mind, supporters praised Klopp’s stiff resistance against his critics and made their feelings clear on social media.
Given Klopp said ‘replays cannot be the answer’, one fan appreciated his experience in management and stated that “he knows the struggle”.

When PL teams put out their strongest 11 againts lower league team they’ll get mocked. Put out their B team still they’ll get mocked for not taking the competition seriously. Just do what you think is best for the team, you’ll never gonna please rival fans anyway
