Liverpool fans are desperate for Christian Pulisic to move to the club this summer

It’s been a stunning summer so far for Liverpool, with major deals like that which brought Alisson and Fabinho to Anfield becoming normal at Anfield these days. Given the years of minimal spending and mediocrity that led to Jurgen Klopp’s regime, there’s no doubting that Liverpool are on an upwards trajectory.

But is there a chance that their summer could get even better?

Well, unfortunately, in the case of Christian Pulisic, that doesn’t look likely. According to the Mirror, though the Reds are long-time admirers of him and would like to have him at Anfield, they’ve suffered a blow in the form of interest from Chelsea. The Blues are said to be eager to improve their squad, and they view the £65 million-rated attacker as an ideal choice.

He’s apparently available for £65 million, and Chelsea, it appears, could be willing to make that splash. Liverpool aren’t used to not getting who they want at the moment, given how successful they’ve been in recent years and months on the transfer front, but they may fall short here, it seems.

However, Liverpool fans are online are eager for Jurgen Klopp to ensure that’s not the case. Indeed, they’ve been on Twitter over the last day or so calling for the Reds to sign the American attacker – with the 19-year-old a very popular man at Anfield.

#LFC owners American, Pulisic American. Klopp absolutely love him, repeatedly said he’d sign if he’s available. He’s only 19 and guaranteed to be a world class players in a season or two. I’d say splash the cash on him.
