Liverpool: Fans are in dreamland over ‘amazing’ Premier League trophy footage

Liverpool FC has posted official footage of the Premier League trophy being engraved with the club’s name.

After 30 long years, the Reds can finally celebrate a title win as they prepare to watch Jurgen Klopp’s side hold it aloft after tonight’s match at Anfield.

This will be the club’s first ever Premier League title and it was certainly won in style. The runaway leaders were crowned champions with seven fixtures left of the season – a new record for the fastest time to wrap up the victory (via ESPN).

The official Liverpool Twitter account has shared a video of the trophy being engraved and updated. Kopites have flocked in their hundreds to comment on the footage as they can scarcely believe their eyes. One supporter has tweeted ‘it’s happening Reds’ whilst another has commented ‘we’re ready’ along with a GIF of Jordan Henderson’s famous trophy lift shuffle.
