Liverpool have had a lot to smile about in recent weeks, with Jurgen Klopp’s men on a roll at the moment. They’ve won every game in the Premier League this season, and they already find themselves ahead of Man City and Man Utd in the Premier League title race.
Jurgen Klopp, then, can do no wrong at present. He had a tough time when he first moved to Anfield, but all of his hard work is finally paying off.
The German, however, has received some bad news this week. Despite the recent return of Dejan Lovren to light training, the Croatian defender could be missing until the next international break – with the Reds hesitant to rush him back from his injury according to the Evening Standard.
This is undoubtedly bad news for Jurgen Klopp, as it means he has just Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip to call upon.
However, despite the bad news, Liverpool fans online aren’t too bothered. Indeed, to the contrary, many Reds have taken to Twitter to discuss the news, and it’s fair to say that they’re pleased. They clearly haven’t been impressed by Dejan Lovren, whilst the rise of Joe Gomez means that they aren’t worried about his absence.
