Liverpool fans call for Adam Lallana to be sold following injury update

In Jurgen Klopp’s pre-Watford press conference on Friday, he confirmed to the assembled media that Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana would miss the trip to Vicarage Road through injury.

The England international has seen his career decimated by injuries in the last few years, this all after becoming a hugely integral member of Klopp’s team in helping the Merseyside giants return to the top four of the Premier League in the 2016/17 season.

The Reds boss also added that Jordan Henderson is ready to play and everyone came back fit from international duty, leaving Klopp with a whole host of midfielders to choose from in Lallana’s absence, with any two or three of Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Naby Keita and Gini Wijnaldum set to start.

The news comes ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Javi Gracia’s Hornets, with the Reds seeking to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign in Hertfordshire on Saturday.

Lallana is set to miss #WATLIV this weekend, while Henderson is available.
