Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is undergoing extra training sessions as he attempts to be fit in time for the Reds’ next Premier League match against Manchester United on October 20th.
ESPN reported that, over the international break, the Brazil international plans to continue preparing for his comeback from a calf injury sustained two months ago, even though Reds players not involved with their countries have been granted time off by Jurgen Klopp.
According to ESPN, Alisson has been working with Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg on his speed, reactions, distribution and power as he targets a first-team return for the trip to Old Trafford later this month.
The 27-year-old has been out of action since going off injured against Norwich on the opening day of the Premier League season, with pre-season arrival Adrian deputising in goal since then.
The Spaniard has helped Liverpool to victory in each of their eight league games so far this term, but has conceded 13 goals in his 11 appearances, whereas Alisson let in just 34 goals in 51 games last season.

Alisson has to play if fit. He’s one of, if not the best keeper in the world on his day. Adrian has been a great understudy in his absence, but unfortunately that is what he is.. his understudy. He would have knew that when he signed. I think he would understand!
