Liverpool fans have heaped praise on manager Jurgen Klopp after he was nominated for December’s Premier League manager of the month award.
The German tactician won all five games during the festive period to ensure that his side remained top of the league standings, 13 points clear of Leicester City in 2nd place and 14 points ahead of Manchester City in 3rd.
Klopp has already won the awards for August, September and November and is looking to win his fourth managerial prize.
The newly-appointed Nigel Pearson at Watford and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United are also up for December’s gong.
Supporters were delighted with the Stuttgart-born coach’s latest accolade and made their feelings clear on social media.
One fan questioned why the Premier League are wasting time with the nominations and should just hand Klopp the award already.
