Liverpool: Fans delighted for Elijah Dixon-Bonner after signing a new contract

Liverpool fans have expressed their delighted after Elijah Dixon-Bonner committed his future by signing a new contract.

The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on only his second contract with the club. He was part of the Youth Cup-winning team of 2019 under Barry Lewtas and scored a penalty in the spot-kick shootout.

The club’s official website revealed the news but does not confirm the length of the new deal.

He joined the club in 2015 from Arsenal and caught the eye of former U18s manager Steven Gerrard. Since then, he has become an international at England U17 level and scored three goals in 21 appearances during last season’s U18 Premier League.


The Englishman is now a regular for Neil Critchley’s U23s side and has even been given the captain’s armband on several occasions.
