Liverpool fans desperately want Alisson to join the club this summer

Liverpool fans are always a vocal bunch online, and so it’s no real surprise that their team has got them talking over the last day or so. According to Melissa Ruddy, who is an expert on all things Anfield-related, Liverpool are quietly confident of securing a deal for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

The Reds are seemingly eager to upgrade their goalkeeping situation in light of Loris Karius’ poor form at Anfield, and they’re viewing the Brazilian as a prime target.

He was, of course, Brazil’s number one goalkeeper at the World Cup, and he generally looked good. He’s very solid with the ball at his feet, with brilliant technical ability matching his fantastic shot-stopping and aerial quality. In truth, he has offered everything that Lorius Karius hasn’t over the last year, and there’s no doubting that he would be an upgrade for the club.

Naturally, Liverpool supporters have been quick to respond to the news regarding Alisson, and it’s fair to say that many of them are very happy.

Whilst Ruddy appears confident of a deal, Paul Joyce of the Times has now also indicated that a move has actually been agreed, so it seems likely that Liverpool fans could get even happier over the coming hours and days.
