Liverpool supporters have heaped praise on their Brazilian midfielder Fabinho after his performance during the 2-1 win against Tottenham on Sunday.
Goals from skipper Jordan Henderson and a penalty from Mohamed Salah sealed all three points for the Reds in a game that they completely dominated from start to finish.
The Reds made sure that there was no revenge from the north London outfit after beating them in the Champions League Final back in May.

Fans recognised Fabinho as one of the outstanding performers during the game and the statistics back their argument up. He made four tackles and made three interceptions as his capabilities of resolutely protecting the back four were on full show. The Brazilian was also very reliable in terms of keeping possession, with five long balls completed, two key passes made and a pass success rate of 85.7%.
One fan described the Brazil international as the “general” after his flawless performance for the Merseyside club, while another questioned if Fabinho was even human.
