Ben White has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in a development that could see him replace Dejan Lovren and fans are drooling over a recent video of the Englishman’s talent.
The 22-year-old centre-back could be looking at an offer from the Reds this summer as talks surrounding an Anfield exit for Lovren heighten (via Football Insider).
White is currently on loan with Leeds United from Brighton but former England and Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that his parent club will want to keep hold of him, and also that he believes the Reds have scouted him as a Lovren successor.
The 6 foot 1 defender has played 37 Championship games this season and bagged himself two assists from the back-line (via Transfermarkt).
Lovren could be set for a move to Lazio, meaning Liverpool will be in need for a back-up centre-half and White could be the man for the job. Fans are fully on board with the idea after watching a recent video of him in action.
One supporter has said he is ‘better on the ball than Fabinho’ whilst another has branded him ‘absolute class’.
Watched him play a lot this year, great defender with the ball at his feet . Nice player
