Liverpool: Fans drool over Mohamed Salah’s goal tally

Liverpool fans drooled over forward Mohamed Salah’s total number of goals after drawing level with Fernando Torres.

Salah, 27, joined the club from Roma for £34m in 2017 and instantly turned into one of Europe’s most prized possessions, scoring over 40 goals in his first season.

He went on to win the PFA Player of the Year award during the 2017/18 campaign but went off injured during his side’s 3-1 defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The former Chelsea man went on to win back-to-back Premier League Golden Boot awards and won the Champions League in Madrid 12 months later.

Salah is now level with Fernando Torres and is one behind Luis Suarez, two highly regarded ex-players at the club.
