Liverpool: Fans echo comments of Jurgen Klopp in support of Lucas Leiva

Loads of Liverpool fans have echoed the comments of manager Jurgen Klopp after he sang the praises of former Reds midfielder Lucas Leiva.

After he was left with a tear in his eye following his departure from Anfield, Klopp grew fond of the Brazilian who spent 10 years on Merseyside. As a result, he has tipped Lazio to win the Serie A title as he shows his support for a former Red, which would bring ‎I Biancocelesti’s 20-year wait for a league crown to an end.

The 33-year-old was subject to criticism early on in his Liverpool career but turned himself into a fan favourite, and still is to this day. Indeed, he scored seven goals and provided 21 assists in 346 appearances for the club and played over 24,000 minutes, as per TransferMarkt. Unsurprisingly, many supporters were quick to agree with Klopp about the former No. 21 and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan questioned how can people not love him, while another described him as a “legend”.
