Fans were left stunned by his performance during the first game, with some supporters pleading with the club to sign him back in October.
The Times revealed that the Japanese winger will be available for a fraction of his £20m valuation, possessing a release clause of £7.25m which could be activated in January.
Supporters exploded with delight about the update from Joyce and made their feelings clear on social media.
