The official Liverpool FC Twitter has released photos from the team’s latest training session ahead of their game against Arsenal, including snaps of the elusive Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Switzerland international has been absent from both training and first team action as of late but is now back amongst the rest of the Reds. The winger missed a lot of this season due to injury, with a calf problem and a knock seeing him sidelined for a total of 11 games (via Transfermarkt).

Shaqiri hasn’t featured for Liverpool since January, with his last outing being just a one-minute cameo in a 1-0 win against Spurs.
Loads of Reds fans are delighted to see him back and have flocked to the tweet to show their support. One supporter has commented ‘please give big Shaq some game time’ whilst another has pretended they don’t even recognise the Swiss man, asking if he is a new addition to the club instead.
