Liverpool will be hosting Chelsea later in the third round of the Carabao Cup and it’s a game that the fans will be expecting to win. Both Jurgen Klopp and Maurizio Sarri are expected to ring the changes but the Reds still believe their fringe stars will have it in them to get past The Blues at Anfield.

Liverpool’s first eleven has looked like a force of nature at times this season and the fans are starting to dream that maybe they can win their first Premier League title next May. For now, though, it will be about Chelsea. The fans are gearing up to face the Blues tonight at Anfield and then again on Saturday at Stamford Bridge and whilst tonight’s game has less worth than Saturday’s the fans are desperate to win both.
If Klopp can dispose of Chelsea at Anfield and at Stamford Bridge and take his side’s 100% record to nine games then it will be hard to see anyone beating the Reds. Sarri’s Chelsea drew against West Ham last weekend, ending their 100% start to the season, but that doesn’t mean the Blues still won’t be a threat tonight. Some Liverpool fans may be underestimating Chelsea, but to have confidence in their side is crucial and they have plenty of it.
