Liverpool have made first contact with Bayern Munich over their interest in signing Thiago Alcantara this summer.

According to SportBild (via @LFCTransferRoom), Liverpool have made official contact with the Bayern Munich board.
Thiago is unarguably the Merseyside outfit’s biggest transfer target this window, with talks stemming across weeks and weeks of frustration amongst fans. They are now back to being excited as they feel like the deal is finally on its way to being finalised.
The Spaniard will reportedly cost the Reds £27million, but rivals Manchester City are also said to be eyeing up a swoop.
