Liverpool: Fans hammer Emre Can amid reports of likely exit from Juventus

Only a year after leaving Liverpool, Germany midfielder Emre Can could be on the move again amid reports of being unwanted at Juventus by new manager Maurizio Sarri.

According to Tuttosport [via Football Italia], the 25-year-old will be allowed to leave the Serie A champions by the ex-Chelsea boss, with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain both making enquiries about the player. Those links were communicated by @TheKopiteOFF on Twitter.

Can was signed by Liverpool in July 2014 and made 167 appearances for the Reds, scoring 14 goals and playing in the Europa League and Champions League finals under Jurgen Klopp.

He produced some occasional moments of brilliance for Liverpool, not least the scissor kick winner at Watford in May 2017 as the Reds ultimately claimed fourth place in the Premier League.

However, as reported by the Liverpool Echo, he rejected a new contract at Anfield the following season and said that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of boyhood idol Zinedine Zidane by playing for Juventus.

He did not make much of an impact in his first season in Turin, though, scoring just four times in 37 appearances and starting only 22 games between Serie A and Champions League.
