Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson took to Twitter this morning to deliver his verdict on the Reds’ Champions League win away to Genk, simply stating: “Good 3 points on the road last night #YNWA”. [via @andrewrobertso5].

The 25-year-old left-back started the game in Belgium before being substituted in the 63rd minute, the first time that he has not completed a match in which he has featured this season.
Joe Gomez came on instead of him, a substitution which saw him go to right-back and James Milner switch to the other side of the pitch to fill the void left by Robertson, as noted by the Daily Mail.
The Scotland defender is the only senior left-back in Liverpool’s squad, while Milner was forced to start at right-back against Genk with Trent Alexander-Arnold missing last night’s match because of illness and Nathaniel Clyne not due to return from a cruciate ligament injury until next year, according to The Telegraph.
Joel Matip was also missing through injury, and with Jurgen Klopp deprived of so many defenders, his decision to take off Robertson could have been made with the intention of having him fresh for the visit of Tottenham to Anfield on Sunday.
