Loads of Liverpool fans mocked Barcelona players after they witnessed their defending of a corner in the Champions League.
A fan posted a video on Twitter (via @INDcule) of the Catalan giants conceding a corner and Nelson Semedo walking away, only to be shouted at by goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to watch for the short option at the end of their 1-1 draw against Napoli.
This comes after the La Liga side lost 4-0 to Liverpool at Anfield last season in the Champions League semi-final second leg. Indeed, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s quickly-taken corner famously flummoxed the defence and Divock Origi fired home to send them crashing out of the competition. With this in mind, some Reds supporters howled at Barcelona as they made their feelings clear on social media. One fan reflected on how scarred the team is after last season, while another cheekily said “once bitten” about Barca’s unpleasant Anfield experience.
