Liverpool: Fans laud Naby Keita’s performance against Brighton

Liverpool continued their outstanding season with a 3-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Reds were able to grab three points on the road after goals from Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson saw off the game. Although the Premier League title has already been wrapped up, Jurgen Klopp’s men are pushing for a 100-point finish this season. They currently top the table with 92 points.

One man who is receiving a lot of praise for his performance on Wednesday is Naby Keita. The Guinean has struggled for game time this campaign but since the restart, he has been in positive form. He bagged himself an assist against the Seagulls, which is his second assist in two games (via Sofascore).

According to FotMob, the 25-year-old created five goalscoring opportunities – the most in the game – and completed 3/3 dribbles which was also the highest amount in the match.

Loads of Liverpool fans are praising his most recent display, with one even asking ‘Who needs Thiago?’ The Reds have been linked to Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara recently but it seems this fan feels with a playmaker like Keita, the club don’t need to splash the cash this summer.
