Liverpool: Fans loved Jurgen Klopp’s touchline antics during Monterrey victory

Liverpool fans have been laughing at Jurgen Klopp after his reaction to Monterrey manager Antonio Mohamed and his antics during their 2-1 victory in Qatar on Wednesday.

The Reds advanced to the final of the Club World Cup after overcoming their Mexican opponents, with goals from Naby Keita and a 91st-minute winner from substitute Roberto Firmino.

Despite the victory, Jurgen Klopp’s side were unable to put the sword to Monterrey and only had the lead momentarily in the first half before they conceded an equaliser from Funes Mori, the brother of former Everton defender Ramiro.

The German tactician was incensed when Mohamed was waving an imaginary yellow card, pleading for Joe Gomez to be booked. Klopp reacted and was photographed mocking the manager’s gesture.

Supporters were in hysterics about Klopp’s reaction and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he feels lucky to have the former Mainz defender at the club.
