Liverpool: Fans not interested in seeing Todd Cantwell come to Anfield

Liverpool are front runners to capture Todd Cantwell in the summer, but fans have no interest in seeing him in the famous red shirt next season.

The Athletic previously reported that the Norwich City midfielder has attracted interest from the Reds, who has also attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City. The 21-year-old has six goals and two assists in 28 appearances during his first Premier League season and has left a lasting impression on a number of clubs.

Cantwell, who is valued at £13.5m by TransferMarkt, has two years left on his contract and Anfield Edition opened up the discussion on Twitter (via @AnfieldEdition) as to whether Jurgen Klopp should bring the youngster to Anfield. Supporters were quick to suggest that he won’t be able to bring anything to the team. One fan said that he keeps falling down on the pitch like a “muppet”, while another said that he is ‘overrated and overpriced’.
