The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments from their eccentric German gaffer, Jurgen Klopp as he provided a fitness update on his squad ahead of their visit to Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Liverpool squad will no doubt be fatigued after travelling to Rome for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg, although the club got through the game without any injuries.

The Reds have just three games left to look forward to this season, although it’s fairly clear which one they’re all looking forward to. Klopp’s side overcame Roma 7-6 on aggregate on Wednesday evening, losing 4-2 on the night but doing enough at Anfield to see them travelling to Kiev in three weeks time. Now for the Kopites, attention will turn to Chelsea on Sunday and Brighton a week later as they look to properly prepare for their meeting with Zinedine Zidane’s heavyweights.
The good news coming out of Liverpool this morning is that despite playing a tense and training 90 minutes in Rome, they’ve come through it unscathed, managing to keep their injury list to a minimum. The only news Klopp had fitness-wise ahead of their visit to London concerned Adam Lallana. The Englishman trained yesterday with some of the squad players but no decisions will made over the side to face Antonio Conte until today. The fans will be looking forward to travelling to he Bridge, although the priority will have to be keeping thei key men fit.

@MoSalah is going back home to haunt #ChelseaFC. African mamba #sadiomane is on fire and #firmino is all time fit. No worry about the weekend, we are to play #ChampionsLeague next season. #weareliverpool #LFC

not easy is a sad thing, at this very moment. congrats for reaching the final. we, need to enjoy the final and not so stressed about Ronaldo, long ranged shot Asensio or Marcelo’s overlapping. we should defend well in the final. and, dont forget to shoot on target
