This week is a huge one for Liverpool. Last week was pretty big as they faced back-to-back matches against Chelsea, but this time around there’s some variety as they travel to Naples to face Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli before returning to Anfield to host Manchester City in the Premier League.

First up this week for Jurgen Klopp’s side is Napoli on Wednesday. The Italian outfit have been at the top of their game for a few seasons now and won’t be an easy match for The Reds. After three consecutive top-three finishes, Napoli have established themselves as one of Italy’s best teams alongside the likes of Juventus and Roma and for Liverpool, it will be far from easy to get a result at the Stadio San Paulo.
After The Kopites return from Naples, it’s back to the devil that they know as they’ll be facing Manchester City. Klopp went head-to-head with Pep Guardiola four times last season, winning three times and losing once. However, that one loss was a devastating 5-0 defeat at The Etihad so it really is hard to call which way that game will go. The Liverpool fans are more than a little bit confident of grabbing a couple of wins though and if they do grab two wins it will be a huge statement so early in the season.
