Liverpool fans will all be preparing themselves between now and next Tuesday as they gear up for a huge Champions League meeting with Bayern Munich at Anfield. It will certainly be a tough clash, and it’s only made tougher by the fact that Virgil van Dijk is suspended and Joe Gomez is injured, however, Dejan Lovren may also miss the game.
Jürgen Klopp explains why Dejan Lovren hasn't travelled to Marbella… https://t.co/liieVHk87a

The Croatian centre-back was expected to be used alongside Joel Matip at the heart of the Red’s backline against Bayern, but now it looks like he’s going to miss it too, as he hasn’t flown out to Marbella with the rest of the Liverpool squad. Jurgen Klopp has explained why the defender hasn’t travelled on the Liverpool website, but the fans are far from happy with Lovren’s ongoing injury problems.
The current blow that he’s trying to shake off is a hamstring problem that was sustained when he faced Wolves in the FA Cup over a month ago, and the fans can’t understand how. The Croatian’s injury problems are well documented on Merseyside, and the thought of facing a side like Bayern Munich with a makeshift centre-back like Fabinho or James Milner is not a pleasant thought.

So we only have Matip available at Centre back for the Bayern game at Anfield?

The Kopites cannot stand Lovren’s ongoing injury problems and will hope he can sort himself out sooner rather than later.
