Liverpool continued their 100% record in the Premier League last night, making it two wins from two thanks to goals from James Milner and Sadio Mane. Milner’s first-half penalty got the ball rolling but it was Mane’s late strike on the counter that sealed three points for The Reds and the fans are showing their love for super Sadio Mane.

Mane has hit this season with a bang. The Senegalese attacker has scored three times in his first two games this season and he looks set to go on and score many many more in what promises to be an entertaining season as far as the Liverpool fans are concerned. If he keeps going at his rate of scoring a goal for just under every hour of football that he plays then Mane could be holding the golden boot at the end of the season.
Whilst that is very unlikely considering he’d have to fend off the likes of Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and his own teammate Mo Salah, it wouldn’t be impossible and if he keeps firing in the same way he has against West Ham and Crystal Palace then there’s no reason why he can’t bag himself 20+ goals in the league this season. Most supporters are keen to see more of Mane on the scoresheet after he was outdone by both Salah and Roberto Firmino in terms of goalscoring last season but this one could be very different.
