Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with Liverpool’s recent Champions League victory over Napoli and their performance in it, though it was not all positives for the German on the night his side managed to secure qualification into the knockout round.
Central defender Joel Matip, who has come in from the cold, suffered a fractured collarbone playing against the Serie A side and could now be out of action for up to six weeks.
And given how the 27-year-old has played of late during his run in the first team, that will come as a huge blow, especially with Joe Gomez already out injured and a clash versus Manchester United awaiting the current Premier League leaders.
That being said, even in the absence of the pair, it is hard to imagine Liverpool not walking away from their upcoming fixture with at least a point.
