Liverpool fans on Twitter think that Klopp has identified the perfect Emre Can replacement

The future of Emre Can has been a big topic of debate in the Transfer Tavern over the last few months.

The German’s contract at Anfield is set to expire this summer, and so his long-term prospects at Anfield have been looking increasingly bleak as of late. Unfortunately for Liverpool, the saga has rolled on whilst Can has been increasing in influence at Anfield – with Jurgen Klopp clearly a big fan of the German.

A midfield regular at present, Can has impressed alongside the likes of Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, forming one-third of one of the Premier League’s most impressive midfields.

However, despite his significance, it doesn’t appear as though Can has his heart set on an extended Anfield stay, with the Mirror reporting that Bayern Munich are the favourites for his signature come the summer.

Fortunately, though, Liverpool reportedly do have a plan to deal with his departure – with Jorginho an apparent target of Jurgen Klopp.

This news has gone down very well over on Twitter, with Liverpool fans taking to the social media site to discuss the rumour. Indeed, many are saying exactly the same thing – he’s perfect!

Jorginho has, of course, impressed for Napoli this season, having emerged as the perfect central midfielder to move play forward and dictate the speed of the game.

Clearly, then, he’d be a decent fit in place of Can, and the move would certainly go down well with the Anfield faithful.
