Liverpool Academy rising star Liam Coyle has signed a new contract and committed his future to the Reds.
The youngster joins fellow reserve team talent Joe Hardy in agreeing new terms. Coyle, as a lifelong Liverpool supporter, will undoubtedly be over the moon to be asked to stay with the club.
The 20-year-old, who operates mainly as a defensive midfielder, has made 56 appearances across the Merseyside outfit’s various youth set-ups. In that time he has grabbed himself three goals and one assists (via Transfermarkt). Liverpool’s report has described Coyle as a ‘tough tackler’ who helps snub the opposition and catch them on the counter by creating play.

Many fans are thrilled to see more young starlets commit their futures to the club. One Kopite has tongue-in-cheek responded by saying ‘Werner who?’ Clearly they are putting a lot of faith into the playmaker and are hoping he will break into the first team and make an impact they hoped Timo Werner would prior to his move to Chelsea.
